On July 4, 2026, the United States of America will celebrate the 250th anniversary (A250) of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This once-in-a-generation moment brings Americans together to celebrate our nation’s proud legacy and Delaware’s role as the First State.

While cleaning up public spaces and waterways is an important component of A250, this initiative goes beyond litter removal. Through A250, we will:
-Unite Delawareans around a shared goal of making our state look its best for this historic celebration.

-Spark a renewed sense of civic pride in our communities across the state.

-Inspire organizations and individuals to take action in support of a cleaner, more beautiful future.

Let’s work together to Keep Delaware Beautiful!
